Who we are
Field Hockey Life, LLC (FHL) was founded in 2008 by two-time Olympian, Keli Smith Puzo. We are a field hockey club encouraging and developing athletes to pursue their field hockey dreams! We are comprised of an incredible staff of coaches with college playing and/or coaching experience.
What we offer
We offer something for everyone (beginners to advanced). Our club offers weekly team trainings and tournament opportunities for elementary through high school athletes in an indoor (November-February) and outdoor (March-June) setting. We also offer clinics, camps, individual training, small-group training, showcase opportunities, and more during various times throughout the year.
Where we play
We train in three major cities in Ohio - Columbus, Cincinnati, and Cleveland.
When we play
Our primary seasons include winter indoor season (November through February) and spring outdoor season (March through June). In July, we typically offer camp and clinic opportunities. We break for the fall season (August through October) while athletes train with their school teams.
Why FHL?
The club was created to cultivate the love of field hockey, not just as another sport, but also as a lifestyle. We strive everyday to develop young athletes into better players, teammates, and community members by mentoring them on and off the field.
Additional Information
FHL is the largest field hockey club in Ohio with three locations (Columbus, Cincinnati, and Cleveland) and programs for athletes of all ages and levels. Olympian, Keli Puzo, founded FHL in 2008 while playing for the National Team as a hub for Field Hockey enthusiasts. The demand for coaching grew through camps and clinics and slowly overtime, the company evolved into a club and entity that provides playing opportunities for athletes of all ages.
We have teams and programs for elementary athletes through adults. Although FHL has grown over the years, we have never lost our small club feel and strive to always make our players and their parents feel like they are part of the FHL family.
Our staff has field hockey contacts all over the world and has worked to create a number of opportunities for players to grow their game and experience the sport in different environments. The mission of FHL club is to provide high quality training opportunities and develop individual confidence, all while providing athletes more reasons to love the game of field hockey and make it a part of their life! We strive to develop athletes that can compete on the field with respect and honor and teach life lessons that reach way beyond the pitch.
The coaches at FHL have an immense amount of coaching and playing experience. We understand the importance of giving proper technical and tactical instruction and also know that confidence can be equally important. Our goal is to help young athletes grow into a complete athlete and walk away from the experience a better human. Sport can have a huge impact on an individual's life and we have created an environment to challenge your athletic core and help each athlete accomplish their dreams.
