Select:
Overview: Select is another competitive FHL program, intended for dedicated field hockey athletes who want to further their development, but have less availability for travel related to practices and tournament opportunities. Select athletes practice once a week locally during the spring season. Athletes who participate in select are encouraged to be available for all practices and tournament opportunities.
Tryouts required?: Yes
* Only for those athletes interested in our spring select team(s) that were not previously named to the select program in the 2023-2024 winter season. If you participated in our select program this winter, you do NOT need to tryout again. Evaluations will take place on Sunday, March 17th. All athletes not selected will be fully reimbursed. If you can not make the tryout, you will be evaluated at the first practice on April 7th. .
Seasons offered: Winter indoor, spring/summer outdoor
Ages offered: U16, U19 only in the spring
Travel requirement: Some travel required for tournaments
