Outdoor Travel Teams

overview

Travel teams are our most competitive outdoor team option, with athletes vying for a spot to compete on the biggest outdoor competitions for their age group at the National Club Championships by attending and qualifying from the Regional Club Championship.

This group (with aspirations to compete at the Regional Club Championship and/or train with the most competitive athletes) is not only our most talented but equally important, our most dedicated. Those U-16 & U-19 that make the RCC roster, must prioritize the sport and the premier team above other extra curricular activities.

Making the team:

  1. Register for the Travel Squad in your designated city.
  2. FHL will send out a tournament RSVP in early March to all registered travel athletes.
  3. Travel athletes must attend a tryout in mid March (dates are still TBD). If you are not available for the tryout, please contact us to make arrangements for a make-up date.
  4. After collecting all tournament RSVPs and conducting the tryout, the FHL staff will send out all tournament teams so that families can prepare.
  5. The only exception is Regional Club Championship rosters. Those will be announced on Tuesday, April 15th. If you are selected for the RCC roster, you will have additional Friday evening trainings on water-based turf.
