SELECT:
Overview: Select is another competitive FHL program, intended for dedicated field hockey athletes who want to further their development, but have less availability for travel related to practices and tournament opportunities. Select athletes practice once a week locally during the indoor season and 1-2 times a week locally during the outdoor season. Premier athletes are eligible to be selected for competitive travel tournaments - either sponsored by USA Field Hockey, regional tournaments hosted by universities, or other travel tournaments, either out-of-city and/or out-of-state. Athletes who participate in select are encouraged to be available for all practices and tournament opportunities.
Tryouts required?: No
Seasons offered: Winter indoor, spring/summer outdoor
Ages offered: U12, U14, U16, U19
Travel requirement: Some travel required for tournaments. However, all tournaments are based on athlete's availability.

C'bus Dates: Weekly C'bus Technical and Tactical sessions run on Monday and Thursday evenings from:
April 1st - April 29th from 6:30 - 8:00 PM
May 2nd - June 6th from 7:00 - 8:30 PM

- Additional Tournament fees apply.
May 11-12: Regional Club Cup (2nd Division) in St. Louis, MI (11v11 competition, selected athletes only)
May 25: Derby 7v7 Classic in Louisville, KY (7v7, all interested U-12 & U-14 Premier athletes)
May 26: Derby 7v7 Classic in Louisville, KY (7v7, all interested U-16 & U-19 Premier athletes)
June 8: Midwest Classic Youth Festival in Oxford, OH (7v7, all interested (U-12, & U-14 Premier athletes)
June 9: Miami 7v7 Spring Fling in Oxford, OH (7v7, all interested U-16 & U-19 athletes Premier athletes)
